The Newswire news service allows you to view general news filtered by subject, and company-specific news for a selected contract.

To see General News

From the Analytical Tools menu, select General News.

The window display the latest news headline for each of the five default news categories, including Corporate News Releases, Economic Indicators, Major Breaking News, Ratings News and Reuters US Equities News Pool (for customers who subscribe to Reuters). To modify the subjects for which you receive news, configure the news window.

To configure General News

Click the wrench icon to open configuration for the open General News window.
Click Configure Subject Filter.
Expand the Available Topics in the left pane of the window and check the subjects for which you want to receive news.
Click Save, and then OK to exit the Configuration window.

To see Company News

Select an underlying on the Quote Monitor.
From the Analytical Tools menu, select Company News.
Click a news headline to open the full story in a browser window.
