Accelerator/Decelerator Indicator

The Accelerator/Decelerator Technical Indicator (AC) measures acceleration and deceleration of the current driving force. This indicator will change direction before any changes in the driving force, which, in its turn, will change its direction before the price. The Acceleration/Deceleration is an early warning signal.

To apply an Accelerator/Decelerator Indicator

1. From within a chart, from the Edit menu select Studies.
2. Choose Accelerator/Decelerator and click Add to add the study to the Applied Studies group.
3. Complete parameters as necessary.

Once the study is defined, you can elect to uncheck/check to remove and add the study to your chart.
