Chande Volatility Index Dynamic Average (VIDYA)

A moving average that automatically adjusts its speed based on market volatility. The absolute value of a 9-period Chande Momentum Oscillator is used for the volatility index.

To apply a Chande Volatility Index Dynamic Average (VIDYA) Indicator

1. From within a chart, from the Edit menu select Studies.
2. Choose Chande Volatility Index Dynamic Averageand click Add to add the study to the Applied Studies group.
3. Complete parameters as necessary.

Once the study is defined, you can elect to uncheck/check to remove and add the study to your chart.
